Workshops on
National Curriculum Framework 2005
Azim Premji
Foundation in partnership with the State Government of West Bengal,
Vikramshila Education Resource Society (Kolkata), Digantar (Jaipur) and
Eklavya (Bhopal) organized a series of 4 workshops to facilitate and
generate debate and discussion amongst various individuals from state
governments, SCERTs, text book writers, DIETs, NGOs, NPOs, schools, and
key individuals to review and critique the National Curriculum
Framework 2005. We believe that National Curriculum Framework 2005 is
an important document for the transformation of the quality of our
elementary education. Therefore, it must be debated as widely as
possible, on the one hand, to improve it, and on the other to build
consensus around it.
