“Computer labs outside school” is now in Pondicherry. M S Swaminathan Research Foundation and Azim Premji Foundation are partnering the cause. Ten Village knowledge centres (VKC) of the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation are used as the infrastructure for the sixteen schools and 5,905 children in Pondicherry.

Teacher training, critical to learning enhancement was the first step to make this happen. 153 teachers, 18 Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan (SSA) officials and 30 Nirvahaks underwent training for two days.

Mr. Ramdoss, State Project Director, (SSA) who actively participated in this programme and saw its impact on the Teachers is currently planning to extend this programme to all primary schools in Pondicherry.
